Let’s be honest… March can be weird.
Winter is coming to an end and Spring is on it’s way, but on any given day it’s hard to tell if there will be a 25 cm snowfall, or sunny skies with above freezing temperatures.
So the question remains, what to wear, what to wear?
Since I’m an optimist (and refuse to believe more snow could be on the way), this March, I’m opting to put a little spring in my step, while still wearing seasonally appropriate clothes and accessories.
Here’s what to wear in March to prep your wardrobe for the new season!
This month, be sure to start to add some colour to your wardrobe. Coloured tights are a great option to brighten up your winter looks for the new month.
Temperatures will surely vary throughout the month, leaving you with only one option: layer up! High-socks are a great option for this month. Combine them with sheer tights for a weather-appropriate look.
3. Fun booties
With the snow just about gone, you can finally play with some fun footwear options. I always love a bright pair of booties.
Denim makes for a great transitional piece for the new season! Layer up with a denim jacket for a great March look.
5. Skirts and dresses
You no longer need to be afraid to wear skirts and dresses! Pull out your favourites from your closet and combine them with tights for all your March outfit needs.
Adding some prints to your looks is a great way to put some spring in your step. Choose small pieces like a scarf in a leopard pattern to ease yourself into the new season.
7. A Spring topper
Goodbye heavy parkas! This month layer with an oversized topper or your go-to leather jacket. I know you’ve been itching to wear it!
8. Leg warmers
Finally, no Canadian wardrobe is complete without a pair of leg warmers. They’re a must to help you transition your wardrobe into the new season!
What are you looking forward to wearing this month?
