From Rachel is looking for a Paid Acquisition Manager who is creative and data driven. The Paid Acquisition Manager’s role is key to drive the growth of our client and subscriber base in new markets. This position involves managing all current acquisition channels and developing new ones (e.g., paid search, paid social, display...). This position will require you to work closely with the content marketing team and report results to the management team. The candidate will be expected to maximize the allowed marketing budget and optimize all channels for the lowest acquisition cost possible. Strong analytic, problem solving and communication skills is required. Prior experience with online retail companies is a huge asset.



Digital media campaigns

  • Direct lead generation and initial customer acquisition strategy and campaigns
  • Execute paid traffic strategies and campaigns
  • Control budget and global profitability of paid marketing budget
  • Maximize revenue of all assets, including customer lists and all web and media properties
  • Manage media conversion campaign (results and performance)
  • Develop and execute new acquisition strategies through a well-defined methodology of optimisation across all acquisition channels


  • Responsible for tracking key marketing analytics as well as key performance indicators
  • Responsible for identifying trends in data such as churn rate, the performance of media
  • campaigns and success of promotions
  • Work with the management team to define the data that should be tracked to measure the company’s objectives
  • Analyse and interpret data
  • Understand the purchase behaviour of our marketing audiences


Professional requirements and specific skills

  • Knowledge of important digital media metrics (CTR, ROAS, CPA ect.)
  • Experience and knowledge of Google Analytics
  • A willingness to try new things, platforms, tools and techniques, and to experiment and iterate quickly
  • Ability to quantitatively assess web analytics and data to adapt to creative and business objectives in response to market feedback and user activity trends
  • Basic Photoshop skills an asset
  • Basic knowledge of SQL an asset
  • Bilingualism is essential (English and French)
